Our hearts are heavy today as we learn of the violence that unfolded at a school in Tumbler Ridge, British Columbia.
We pray for those who have died or have been wounded – for everyone affected by what has happened. We ask God to surround them with love and care.
We also remember first responders, medical personnel, and school leaders carrying heavy responsibilities in these hours.
In moments like this, though separate by distance, we stand close to the suffering and the call to be instruments of peace in our communities.
