Our Sponsored Children
Our Religious Ed. Chalice Sponsorship depended fully on the change that the children placed in the can at the front of the church. Since that is not happening at this time we may not be able to meet our committment. We are asking for your support. If you would like to donate to our two sponsored boys you can do so by an e-transfer or by dropping your donation off at the Church Office.
Krishnendu is from a small village called Mancherikunnu in India. She lives with her mother and 2 siblings. Her house is made up of brick with a metal roof. She enjoys language arts & drawing. She would like to be a nurse when she grows up.
David is from Ghana. His family recently added a kitchen and toilet to their home. Our sponsorship will help David continue his education in the hopes of becoming a teacher one day. David loves reading books and playing football with his friends.
These two youth work hard under very trying circumstances and it is our hope to continue supporting them so they can give back to their communities.
UPDATE:
Teje Chittamuri was our third sponsored child. Teje has completed his B. Tech and has been placed with a software company, where he is able to earn an income and help his family. Teje and his family are very grateful for the help he received through the sponsorship provided by St. Ignatius. Teje is confident for his future. Teje and his family will keep St. Ignatius parish in their prayers always.
How to e-Transfer
Send money from your online banking account to the parish!
